Happy New Year.

2023 is going to be an exciting year for the club - with a huge number of competitions available to athletes of all ages.

On the track we are taking part in the National Athletics League, both Upper and Lower age group Youth Development leagues, Southern Athletics League, Surrey Masters League, Ebbisham League, Lily B League and Rosenheim League.

The New Year has started with a bang, with the Surrey XC Champs and the indoor races getting going for 2023.

There was a good number of good performances at the cross country on Saturday.

The stand out was a great 6th position in the U13 boys race for Albert Kadar, but this was far from the only strong performance with good runs from Rebecca Keddie, Tia Garrard, Saya Murase and Nathan D'Haese to name just a few.

More good news over the weekend. This time it was from the Surrey League XC.

The men placed 3rd and very narrowly missed out on what would have been a deserved promotion, despite missing a few of our regular athletes. Congratulations to Gareth Price who was 5th, a really strong run from him.

Another week, another set of strong results.

This weekend saw the Surrey Schools Cross-Country Championships.

Star performer was Connor Foley who won the Inter Boys race and how now been selected for the English Schools.

There were also strong performances from Tia Garrard, Dhruv Simmonite, Otto de Jong and Ella Henderson who gained selection to run in the inter-counties in a couple of weeks time.
