On the day, collect your number at check-in and bring your spikes, club vest, water and safety pins. Check the start list and timetable in advance and report on time. Keep an eye on Spond for entry details and deadlines.
Before you go: check the event details, call time and location; confirm your events and their order; check the weather; pack everything you need; eat well, stay hydrated and get a good night's sleep; arrive in good time. Last-minute changes go out on Spond, so check before travelling.
What to bring: spikes (if you have them), running shoes, water bottle, KACPH vest, warm clothing, a waterproof jacket, sun cream and hat, snacks, safety pins, personal medication if needed, and a positive attitude.
On arrival: report to your coach or team manager, find your team area, listen to event instructions, warm up properly and check in for your event when required. Afterwards: cool down and rehydrate, support your teammates, listen out for additional events such as relays, thank your coaches and officials, and help keep the area tidy.
